       - Stops at less stations than Kodama, more stations than Nozomi
• Kodama (Approximately 10 non-reserved seat cars)
       - Stop at all stations
       - Used primarily for travel to smaller cities
• Mizuho
       - Stops at major cities only
       - Used for travel to major cities, such as Shin-Osaka, Shin-Kobe, Hiroshima, Hakata, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima-Chuo
• Sakura (3 non-reserved seat cars)
       - Stops at more stations than Mizuho/Nozomi
• Tsubame
